Which is your best wax for facial hair?
For the face, we recommend creamy hypoallergenic (synthetic) waxes. This one is great. You can also try Russian Pearl, Tahitian Coral, Pink Glow
Hi! Would this wax be considered a natural wax or synthetic? I was reading about some pre wax oils and that it can affect the process if it's natural and I just want to be sure before I buy the prewax oil. I have been using the coconut resin free for the last 2 months and I LOVE it! I have tried a handful of other brands before stumbling upon Waxness and I am NEVER going back!
This is a synthetic, inorganic wax. Thank you for the kind words.
The news multi directional wax can you please elaborate? I do a lot of Brazilians I’m in Hawaii and sometimes as you know you can have an area of skin with hair frowning in more than one direction, would this wax be suitable to them not have to worry shout breaking off hair by applying I’m wrong direction? How does that work?
Multi-directional means, as the name says, it can be applied in any direction. Traditionally hard wax is applied on the skin in the hair growth direction and it is removed in the opposite direction of the hair growth. This technique is in place for a reason: In the direction that is applied on the skin, it is easier for the hard wax to go under the hair cuticles thus, creating a strong grip on the hair. At the same time, if the hair is removed in the opposite direction of the hair growth the hair root is easier to be pulled out. Multi-directional wax like Spa Choice Coconut can be applied on the skin regardless of the hair growth direction because the resin the wax is made of is more fluid, thus creating a strong grip on the hair despite of how it is applied. Because it creates a very strong grip, the hair can be pulled out independently of the hair's direction of growth. Although the wax can pull the hair out regardless of the hair growth direction, we still recommend the strip be removed in the opposite direction of the hair growth, and it is more comfortable for hair removal.
The multi-directional wax has some minor disadvantages. One of them is that it dries a bit slower than regular hard wax because it is more fluid when applied. We do not recommend multi-directional wax to be used in humid and hot areas such as Hawaii because this will increase the drying time. for humid and hot regions we recommend a natural creamy resin wax such as White Tea.
Is the only difference between this wax and the passion fruit the scent? I really like the passion fruit but it is out of stock. Does this wax perform the same way?
All Waxness Spa Choice "Any direction hair removal" lines are the same formula with only color and scent being different.
